If you’ve been waiting for New York’s Cymbals Eat Guitars to try out someone else’s material, this might be your opportunity. The band is premiering a cover, its version of the Solvey track “Redlight.” It’s a teaser for her forthcoming LP, which is coming out August 21 on Killer Wail records. The original song is a moody, electronic number, whereas the indie rock group turns it into an acoustic ballad. You can hear both versions below, and decide for yourself who you think wore it best.
