D-Block keep it gangsta by opening a thugged-out carwash

From the good folks over at Allhiphop.com alerts:

Yonkers, New York-based rap crew D-Block will give back to their hometown community this Saturday (Oct. 21) when the group launches their latest venture, the D-Block Shell Car Wash/Detail Center. The grand opening will feature performances by various artists. The new flagship business is a partnership between D-Block and New York entrepreneur Sammy "Sasso" El Jamal. Sasso, 30, opened his first Mobil gas station at age 18. Now, Sasso currently operates 40 Mobil gas, food, and car washes. "Since my expertise has been in the gas/auto/car wash business for so long it was a great opportunity for all of us," Sasso said. "I love to see music artists be able to branch out into other areas of business."

Now that's gangsta! Ironically Sheek Louch (1/4 of D-Block along with Jadakiss, Styles P and J-Hood) explored this territory earlier when he rapped "My bullets thump when I'm laced in some fly shit, punk/The baby nine be on the daily, aint no poppin a trunk/But if I pop the trunk, its to hand you a rag/So you can wipe down the windows on the side of my Jag" on "Ryde Or Die". Now apparently it's Sheek's, or at least his employees', job to grab a rag and wipe down the windows on the side of various automobiles. Irony!
