Stephen Colbert just got lucky. As part of the ongoing Colbchella concert series, the late night host will have Daft Punk on The Colbert Report next Tuesday, Aug. 6. While it’s a little unclear as to whether Colbert will actually interview the band, it looks like they will, in fact, be performing. It’s the group’s first performance on U.S. television this year, and the group’s first performance at all since 2007.
Colbert announced the news to his studio audience July 25, and has been taping bits where he’s been dancing to “Get Lucky” with different friends of the show, from Jimmy Fallon to Olympia Snowe.
