The perennially Emmy-nominated, Glenn Close-starring angry lawyer lady show Damages has been saved from imminent cancellation by DirecTV, which announced it will broadcast the fourth and fifth seasons exclusively on its 101 network. It’s similar to the last-minute save DirecTV granted to the similarly critically acclaimed but sadly underappreciated Friday Night Lights, although unlike the FNL deal, at this point there are no plans for episodes to be shown on its former home FX or anywhere else. But, uh, we hear there are ways to find that sort of thing on the Internet.
