According to deadline.com Ben Affleck is set to direct the The Trade, the true story of New York Yankee teammates Fritz Peterson and Mike Kekich who disclosed in 1973 that they would be trading spouses. Affleck might also play Peterson and his pal Matt Damon might be attached to play Kekich. No specification about whether the film will be a comedy or drama but Dave Mandel who is best known for his work on Seinfeld and Curb You Enthusiasm has written the screenplay. Expect awkward social situations to be featured.
