Daniel Radcliffe might pull a Harrison Ford and return as Harry Potter someday
Because nothing good is ever left to rest, Daniel Radcliffe has said there’s a chance he could one day return to the role of Harry Potter. Radcliffe issued this caveat-filled statement in an interview with Britain’s Radio Times. “It would depend on the script,” he told the magazine. “The circumstances would have to be pretty extraordinary. But then I am sure Harrison Ford said that with Han Solo and look what happened there! So I am saying, ‘No,’ for now but leaving room to backtrack in the future.” So what he’s saying is, he’ll play Harry again if Harry dies, right? Perhaps in Harry Potter As The Flatulent Corpse?
If Radcliffe really wanted to return to the part, we’re positive J.K. Rowling could think of some way to use him. After all, she hasn’t stopped updating and amending the world she created with a sequel play running in London and a prequel film on the way. Radcliffe, meanwhile, is up to some delightfully weird, non-Potter things. He stars as a dead man in the film Swiss Army Man, and is about to start a run in an Edward Snowden-inspired play in New York.
