Darren Aronofsky is building an actual Ark, which you'd better hope is just for his Noah movie

Offering a glimpse of either one of the more impressive film sets to be constructed in recent memory, or evidence that he knows something we do not, Darren Aronofsky tweeted the above photo of the massive Ark he is currently building for his upcoming biblical epic Noah/next demonstration of God's wrathful disappointment. "I dreamt about this since I was 13. And now it's a reality," Aronofsky said, not exactly downplaying the idea that building an actual ark is all just part of a disturbing prophetic vision. Reassuringly, Aronofsky added, "Genesis 6:14," the Bible verse that reads, "Make you an ark of gopher wood; rooms shall you make in the ark, and shall pitch it within and without with pitch, so that yea verily, Russell Crowe can pitch production assistants off the side when he finds out he's standing on gopher wood."
