Das Racist releasing first proper album in September
After releasing the well-regarded mixtapes Shut Up, Dude and Sit Down, Man (as well as the unstoppable earworm “Combination Pizza Hut And Taco Bell”), New York City hip-hop group Das Racist will be asking fans to pay for its music for a change this fall. Relax, Das Racist’s first proper album, will come out Sept. 13 on group member Himanshu Suri’s own Greedhead Music label, according to Pitchfork. Relax includes production work by Vampire Weekend's Rostam Batmanglij and Yeasayer's Anand Wilder, as well as more typical hip-hop suspects like El-P and Diplo.
