Dave Chappelle, Flight Of The Conchords, and more announce touring comedy festival

Just a few days after Tenacious D announced its single-location comedy jamboree, Dave Chappelle and the newly reunited Flight Of The Conchords have one-upped the news with the announcement of the 13-city Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival. The Funny Or Die-sponsored tour kicks off Aug. 23 in Austin, Texas, and features a number of additional grade-A performers like Al Madrigal, Demetri Martin, Hannibal Buress, John Mulaney, Kristen Schaal, Chris D’Elia, and Jim Jeffries. In each of the city’s stops, Brody Stevens will host a second stage featuring just local performers. A press release also promises “street performers, vendors, psychics, freaks, tasty treats, and more”—because nothing says "comedy" like mimes and sword-swallowers.
