Dave Grohl says a second season of Sonic Highways is coming, possibly set in the U.K.

Get ready for more great stories and then just okay songs: Dave Grohl says a second season of Foo Fighters’ Sonic Highways is in the works. The Foo Fighters frontman told NME that he’s not sure what form the show will take the second time around, and that it “might or might not be international… It might only be in England. It might be in England and other places.” Given that the show’s first season was eight episodes, each set in a different U.S. city with a unique musical history, it might seem like a tiny bit of a stretch for Grohl and company to take the show to eight different U.K. cities, but the singer says it’s doable. As he told NME, “the great thing about the idea, the concept of the project, is that it can be anywhere because every city has some sort of musical history, but I don’t know. Of all places in the world England and the U.K. just seems like it would be shooting fish in a barrel. There’s just so fucking much here.”
