The Internet makes strange bedfellows. Had you told us a few months ago that David Yow—notoriously wild, frequently naked frontman of The Jesus Lizard, Scratch Acid, and Qui—would be heading to our office to meet and interview feline web sensation Lil Bub, we would have scoffed. But on a fateful day last month, the two were in Chicago making an appearance together at Metro, Bub promoting her website and Yow promoting his new book of puntastic cat portraits, Copycat. They met for the first time in our studio and became fast friends. As you’ll see, Yow—clearly a cat person—had some interesting questions for Bub, who is either from outer space or a special-needs rescue from Indiana. Enjoy.
