The Angry Birds Movie didn’t really set the world on fire, but the mobile game still seems to be going strong. In fact, it’s going so strong that De La Soul wrote a song for it for some reason. That’s according to Stereogum, and though we don’t really know if the song was actually made just for Angry Birds, it is “featured” in the game’s latest update. It also appears on De La Soul’s upcoming crowd-funded album And The Anonymous Nobody. The song itself—”Action”—doesn’t seem to have much in common with Angry Birds itself, as it’s not about birds destroying the houses that pigs live in (or bizarrely inappropriate metaphors about immigration, if we’re talking about the movie), but it’s funky enough that you might not really care.
