Japanese actress Shioli Kutsuna will have what Deadline calls a “key role” in the upcoming sequel to Deadpool. However, as is so often the case with these highly anticipated projects, there is no other information as to who she is playing, so let the wild speculation begin. We can start with a look at Kutsuna’s most recent projects, including Oh Lucy!, which premiered at Cannes, and she has the yazuka movie The Outsider, which also stars Jared Leto, coming up. She’s also appearing in the live action Neko Atsume movie, for you cat people out there. Deadpool 2 is due out June 2018. Josh Brolin—who won the coveted role of Cable—is getting ripped in preparation.
