Deadpool director Tim Miller is now producing a Sonic The Hedgehog movie

After leaving Deadpool 2 earlier this month over “creative differences,” original Deadpool director Tim Miller has moved on to a big-screen Sonic The Hedgehog movie—meaning he’s going from chimichangas to chili dogs. (For readers who are less nerdy, chimichangas are Deadpool’s favorite food and chili dogs are Sonic’s favorite food.) This comes from The Hollywood Reporter, which says Miller is merely producing and developing the Sonic movie, not directing it. That gig falls on frequent Miller collaborator Jeff Fowler, who will be making his feature directorial debut with Sonic.

The THR story says it ill be a “hybrid CG-animation/live-action family film,” with Golan The Insatiable’s Patrick Casey and Josh Miller writing the script. We don’t know any real specifics about the movie, but it will reportedly focus on “Sonic and his friends, such as Tails and Knuckles.” Hopefully that will also include some of Sonic’s other equally beloved friends, like Big The Cat, Rouge The Bat, and the aggressively badass Shadow The Hedgehog. Also, we’d like the only music in the movie to be this song, played over and over again:

That bass riff is killer.
