There’s been a lot of great music released already in 2011, but we’re still spinning one of our favorite records of 2010, Deerhunter’s Halcyon Digest, on a weekly basis. Thankfully, the band is now presenting many of those songs at a slightly faster pace and with some added crowd noise—as Pitchfork reported this morning, Deerhunter has just released an 8-song live EP called iTunes Live From Soho. We’ve only heard the first track so far—the fan-freaking-tastic “Desire Lines”—and it’s made us very impatient for the rest to just finish downloading already.
