Despite our relentless negativity, Mark Wahlberg remains "focused" on making an Entourage movie

Making good on his promise to wrap the world in Ed Hardy, Christo-style, Mark Wahlberg told reporters at the MTV Movie Awards that he remains “focused” on making a big-screen adaptation of Entourage. “I just think we can make a great movie,” he said. “I think people always wanted [it] and have complained that the episodes are too short—they’ve always wanted more.” (Okay, who’s been doing that? Was it you?)

Lest you think that a 90-minute Entourage would just be a Groundhog Day-like cycle of Vince getting hired and subsequently fired from a film in 22-minute increments while his boyz spend his money and bicker about who’s the most one-dimensional, Wahlberg cuts you off with some serious vision: “In the trailer, you see [Ari and his associate, Lloyd] waking up together in Vegas not knowing what happened…it would be pretty cool!” Indeed. You would think some other movies would have hit upon that premise by now.
