Showtime has just renewed serial-killer drama Dexter for a sixth season—and although it’s only a one-year deal, there’s no indication yet that it will be the show’s last, nor will the network bill it as such. A seventh season actually seems likely, according to E!, provided that producers are able to successfully renegotiate all the main players’ contracts. Which is good, because we need at least another two to three seasons to fully explore Angel and LaGuerta’s relationship.
