Dexter's brother-sister married couple Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter are divorcing

Normally we don’t like to get involved in the whole relationship gossip thing, but knowing that Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter—brother and sister on Showtime’s Dexter, husband and wife in reality—have filed for divorce seems like the sort of news that fans of the show would want to know. (Certainly their off-screen relationship is nearly always on our mind whenever they share a scene.) According to Entertainment Weekly, the two have actually been separated for “some time,” although it’s not clear if or when exactly that separation coincided with Hall’s recent treatment for Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Anyway, an awkward situation just sort of got more awkward, didn’t it? (Or is it now less awkward?)
