Diamond Youth puts its head in the clouds on a new track
Though it’s been active for five years, Baltimore’s Diamond Youth has only recently announced its debut full-length. Having amassed a healthy back catalog of EPs, the quartet’s debut album Nothing Matters is scheduled for release on May 19 via Topshelf Records. The A.V. Club is streaming one of the songs from Nothing Matters, the pop-rock dreamer “In The Clouds.” Proving that the wait for the band’s long-player was worth it, “In The Clouds” is a song that feels tailor-made for summer. As breezy as the track may be it’s never lacking in substance, showing Diamond Youth’s knack for making pop songs with a hefty backbone.
Pre-orders for Nothing Matters are available now through Topshelf Records.
