Diane Kruger and Norman Reedus hit the road in the Sky trailer
When your relationship is in a bad way, there’s nothing like taking a vacation with your spouse in a foreign country to set things right (over the edge). That terrible idea is also the setup for Sky, featuring Diane Kruger and Gilles Lellouche as Romy and Richard, a couple who try to mend their relationship by cramming themselves into a convertible by day and slumming in roadside motels by night. When an argument takes a violent turn, Romy finds herself on the run in the middle on nowhere.
And much like a dangerous, zombie-infested wilderness, California can be a dangerous place for out-of-towners. That’s probably why Romy gravitates to Norman Reedus’ Diego, which might be the only smart decision she makes in the entire trailer. Of course, a concealed act of violence isn’t the most stable bedrock on which to build a relationship, and their relationship quickly encounters its own conflicts. Will Romy find freedom and happiness with Diego, or will committing mariticide in a foreign country prove to be a poor decision? We’ll find out on April 5, when Sky opens in limited release and on VOD.
