Director Paweł Pawlikowski on the origins of Cold War, his Palme D'Or-nominated film

Polish filmmaker Paweł Pawlikowski’s latest film is Cold War, the Palme D’Or-nominated love story between a man and a woman who meet in the ruins of post-World War II Poland. In honor of the film, which recently made the Oscars shortlist for Best Foreign-Language Film, we sat down with Pawlikowski to talk about the movie’s inception.
