Dirty Projectors announce new EP and music video for "About To Die"
In case the excellent recent album Swing Lo Magellan, its accompanying short film Hi Custodian (featuring hazmat suits, track suits, and a rabbi), and a string of tour dates wasn’t enough Dirty Projectors for one year, the Brooklyn group has also announced a new EP. About To Die features that Swing Lo single in addition to three new tracks, and it will be released Nov. 6, just before the band's Nov. 11 show at Carnegie Hall.
Dirty Projectors has also just released a video for “About To Die,” which features some reused imagery of frontman Dave Longstreth lying down from Hi Custodian (because the guy has to take rest wherever he can get it).
