Dirty Projectors' Nat Baldwin just released a new single, "Lake Erie"
Dirty Projectors’ bassist Nat Baldwin is releasing a new album, and The A.V. Club has the exclusive premiere of the second single. Dome Branches: The MVP Demos is due out Nov. 12 and features demos of tracks from Baldwin’s 2008’s record Most Valuable Player. The record features Baldwin, of course, but also fellow Dirty Projector Dave Longstreth and a bunch of other musicians. The track below, “Lake Erie,” finds Baldwin and crew playing the most challenging song about Cleveland’s Great Lake that’s existed since “The Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald.”
Baldwin is currently out on a North American tour, and dates for that are all listed below.
