In case you missed it, last night was the season finale of The Celebrity Apprentice, and Donald Trump “hired” his least ineffective apprentice. Geraldo Rivera and Leeza Gibbons were the two celebrity competitors who persevered long enough to reach the boardroom finale; you can read about who won here.
Trump also announced that the long-running show would return for a 15th season, allowing another crop of C-list celebrities to do battle in the bloody arena of entry-level management. Once again, vaguely recognizable contestants will bully one another in a bid to prove who can best deliver PowerPoint presentations, sell energy drinks, and compose jingles, while Trump radiates his signature orange hue of squinting bewilderment and scowling disgust. It’s all in the name of charity, folks.
