Download tax coming to an iTunes near you

Well, how long did you expect the $130 billion digital download industry to remain tax-free? The recent surge in legal downloadable content from companies like iTunes and Amazon has prompted nine states this year to consider bills that levy taxes on that content, with five states (Nebraska, Tennessee, Indiana, South Dakota, and Utah) enacting those bills into law.
