Downton Abbey’s Lady Cora announces U.S. dates with her folk-rock band
Downton Abbey’s mother figure can rock, in a motherly sort of way. Actress Elizabeth McGovern—who plays Lady Cora on the stuffy British drama—has announced a series of U.S. dates with her folk-rock band, Sadie And The Hotheads. Self-described as a group that draws on “a world of musical influences, from ’60s pop to country, esoteric folk to jazz, Celtic to torch songs,” Sadie And The Hotheads have existed as a band since 2007, though they’ve understandably become more popular since Downton launched.
The group’s 10-date tour starts Dec. 4, and all stops are listed below.
