Dr. Dre has revealed that his next album, the long-in-the-making Detox, will be his final full-length, saying that once it's finished, “As far as me going into the mic booth, that shit is over.” Dre still plans to scout new talent, produce other artists’ records, and promote the refreshing taste of Dr Pepper, but says that part of the reason it’s taken so long to get Detox out in the first place is the increasing difficulty that comes with “age and being able to identify with the younger audience”—something that will only get harder whenever Detox finally comes out, which at this point should be sometime around Dre’s 65th birthday. Dre then added that he's still got love for the streets, it's just that he's no longer allowed to drive on them after dark. Get it? He's old and such!
