What’s usually a confrontational dialogue between combative parties becomes an intense staring contest when the words are removed. Bill Smith took an episode of Dr. Phil, used the set up narration and then removed all of the dialogue and only used the reaction shots in his edit.

Sans the usually poignant insights of Dr. Phil or the emotionally resonating words of his guests, this video becomes a two-minute exercise in people simply looking angry, disappointed, and ultimately disgusted by everyone around them. Essentially it’s every uncomfortable holiday meal minus the delicious sides.
