Drake had a big night at the Billboard Music Awards

While some of us were glued to screens waiting to see how the Twin Peaks revival would unfold, the music industry was having a party in Las Vegas for the Billboard Music Awards. Drake in particular ended up having a good night—see the above photo for evidence—collecting 13 awards and breaking the record for most BBMAs ever collected during a single show. He won the likes of Top Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, and Top Rap Artist. He also performed in the Bellagio fountain, and awkwardly hit on Vanessa Hudgens on stage.

As well as Drake’s many victories, the night belonged to some classic divas, with performances from both Celine Dion and Cher. The former did a rendition of “My Heart Will Go On”:

And Cher, receiving the Icon Award, did “Believe” and “If I Could Turn Back Time.”

Most notable, however, was the dance party Dion led backstage during Cher’s performance.

As for some of the other winners, Beyoncé was awarded Top Female Artist, Zayn got Best New Artist, and even the dreaded Chainsmokers picked up a couple of prizes. You can see the full list over at Billboard.
