Drake pushes back the release of Take Care
Canadian rapper and sweater enthusiast Drake originally planned to release his forthcoming album, Take Care, on his birthday, Oct. 24. But now he's going to have to find a new present for himself, as the release of Take Care has been bumped back to Nov. 15. Drake took to his website to explain the reason for the move: He still needs to clear three samples that he can't bear to take off the record. "My options were to take the songs off and make the birthday release happen, or to take an extra couple weeks to get the paper work right and give you the album they way I NEED you to hear it," he wrote. "The choice was clear as day for me. November 15th you will get Take Care the exact way I created it with no trimmings." You can still see Drake on this week's Saturday Night Live, where we're guessing he'll be previewing tracks from the unabridged Take Care. [Via Billboard]
