Drive Like Jehu is reuniting
Drive Like Jehu—the San Diego post-hardcore band that ruled the early ’90s and spawned acts like Hot Snakes and Obits—is getting back together. So far, the group has only announced one show on Sunday, Aug. 31 at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion in San Diego, along with the suspicious information that they’ll be “accompanied by Civic Organist Dr. Carol Williams.” The show would be the band’s first since 1995 and—should Internet suspicion and rabble-rousing be true—could mean the beginning of some sort of larger-scale reunion for the group.
