Your intrepid DVD and Blu-ray correspondent is out of the country at the moment, busting his hump at the Toronto Film Festival, so I won’t be able to spend too much time on this week’s list. In brief, I’ll point to three items of interest: the second season of Fringe, which had some rough patches but which ended as strong as just about any series of this past year; Antonio Campos’ edgy drama Afterschool, one of last year’s most acclaimed and underseen films; and the 1973 Alice Cooper tour film Good To See You Again, which your intrepid blah-blah-blah is hoping to review when he gets back home.
