Writer Dylan Marron is probably best known for his appearances on Welcome To Night Vale and for creating Every Single Word, a video series that compiles the lines spoken by people of color in Hollywood films. His most recent project, Conversations With People Who Hate Me, which recently returned after a long hiatus, is pretty self-explanatory: He calls the people who write him negative comments, taking contentious online conversations and moving them offline. The result is often awkward, but always fascinating. In the video above, Marron talks to us about the podcast and how we can learn to have meaningful conversations with people who disagree with us.
