Eagles drag their old, rich selves out of their respective homes to tour, get even richer

Reminding the world once again that even old, reunited bands can never have enough money, Eagles have announced a new run of live dates. The tour, which will almost assuredly cost an arm and a leg to attend, kicks off July 6 in Louisville, Kentucky at the specially seasoned KFC Yum! Center before running the rest of the month. A full list of dates is below.

When the Eagles initially reunited in 1994 after a 14-year hiatus, it was a big deal. The Hell Freezes Over tour, which ran from ’94 to ’96, sold 3.4 million tickets, remains one of the highest grossing tours of all time, and was, setting an unfortunate precedent, the first rock tour to ask fans to fork over $100 a ticket. Since then, the band has toured plenty more and, according to Billboard, has grossed over $454 million at the box office—a figure that just factors in ticket sales, not merch, albums, personal appearances, and so on.
