Eagles Of Death Metal announce new European tour
As previously hinted—but only today confirmed—rock band Eagles Of Death Metal are preparing to start touring again, returning to Paris for a new concert three months after their last show was disrupted by gunmen during the November 13 attacks that killed more than a hundred people in the French capitol. Calling it the “Nos Amis” tour—French for “Our Friends”—the band announced the new shows today, with the re-planned European tour kicking off on February 13, in Stockholm, Sweden. The band will then make their way to the City Of Light on February 16, playing a show at Paris’ Olympia Theater.
Frontman and co-founder Jesse Hughes reiterated the band’s desire to continue performing together, telling reporters, “We look forward to coming back in February and continuing our mission to bring rock ‘n’ roll to the world.” The band also announced that interested concertgoers who attended the November 13 concert at the city’s Bataclan Theater—where the band has pledged to someday return—would be given free tickets to the Olympia Theater show.
