"Ebony And Ivory" voted worst duet
The listeners of BBC 6 have voted, and the results are in: "Ebony And Ivory" is the worst duet ever. Filed squarely under "good intentions gone bad," the chart-topping 1982 team-up between Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder clearly wasn't redeemed in the eyes of the world by its piano-tickling, metaphor-straining call for racial harmony. McCartney's duet with Michael Jackson, "The Girl Is Mine," also made the top 10, as did two David Bowie collaborations: "Dancing In The Street" with Mick Jagger and "Little Drummer Boy" with Bing Crosby.
