In an apparent attempt to hasten along the Lost In Translation portion of his career, Ed Helms has joined forces with Academy Award-nominated misery porn director Alejandro González Iñárritu for an upcoming TV project. Called One Percent, the series will star Helms as a member of a dysfunctional family that’s struggling to keep its organic farm afloat, when an unexpected—and probably, incomprehensibly tragic—turn of events changes everything. So it’s kind of like Arrested Development, only serious, and with organic produce instead of model homes. One Percent does not yet have a network to call its own, but it does potentially have Ed Harris and Hilary Swank, who are both reportedly in talks to participate in the project.
