Edgar Wright hints at proper DVD release of Grindhouse
Yesterday morning, Edgar Wright, director of the upcoming Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World—and more pertinently, the Grindhouse faux-trailer “Don’t,” a send-up of 1970s European horror films—Tweet-hinted at something Grindhouse fans have long been waiting for: a proper double-feature release of the Grindhouse experience on DVD (and Blu-Ray), fake trailers included. Wright’s Tweet reads, “So, get this, tomorrow I am doing a commentary on 'Don't'. Some of you will know what that means is finally happening.” We do.
(An additional notice for you Grindhouse fans in Chicago: the Gene Siskel Film Center is screening the full Grindhouse experience July 10 and July 13 as part of their "Tarantino and Co." film series playing throughout July and August.)
