Illustrator Edward Gorey's book The Doubtful Guest will become a CGI/live-action film—the first movie to be based on the late artist's work. The folks at the Jim Henson Co. at least seem to have a feel for the title character in this Hollywood Reporter story: "It's hard to come up with a creature that you've never seen before in any medium, and he's a unique little creation who is very appealing without being cute or cloying."
