A mere two months after the release of Run The Jewels 2, both El-P and Killer Mike announced plans to start work on a follow-up this January. Though the duo has only released snippets of its hotly anticipated, Kickstarter-funded remix album Meow The Jewels, over the weekend Killer Mike proved that he was serious about starting work on new music when he posted a photo on Instagram of him and El in the studio with Massive Attack. Mike didn’t offer any details about what this session with the British trip-hop innovators was for, but he did go on to post a video of them all sitting around listening to Bruce Springsteen, in case the other hints about what’s going on here weren’t ambiguous enough for you.
