Elf Power's weird new video is great, features a goth clog dancer
Late last summer, a video started making the rounds online of a seriously intense clog dancer absolutely getting down to Siouxsie And The Banshees’ “Kiss Them For Me.” It was a surreal little clip, and one that simultaneously made absolutely no sense and all the sense in the world.
Weird, savvy band that it is, Elf Power saw the clip and immediately reached out to the clogger, Naomi Merchant, to see if she’d be up to hoof it in their new music video. She said yes, of course, and the resulting clip for “Transparent Lines” is below. It’s weird, but in a really great way.
Elf Power is heading out on tour with Neutral Milk Hotel starting today. The band’s full list of dates is below. B.Y.O. clogs.
