Elisabeth Moss braves a misogynistic nightmare in the first trailer for The Handmaid’s Tale
Hulu’s Margaret Atwood adaptation The Handmaid’s Tale is one of the streaming service’s most anticipated offerings of 2017, starring Mad Men’s Elisabeth Moss as a young woman trapped in a bitter future where women are little more than subjugated property. Now, Hulu has given viewers its first tease of the series—scheduled to debut on April 26—allowing us to see through Moss’ haunted eyes as she and co-stars Alexis Bledel and Orange Is The New Black’s Samira Wiley watch their world crumble into misogynistic, totalitarian decay.
