Unfortunately, struggling office drones will have to make due for today with “BFFs,” the new song from the group Beach Day. The surf rock act releases Native Echoes, its second album in two years, August 19, but “BFFs” should help fans get all salt-sprayed and prepared. Recorded in Detroit, the record—and the track—merges garage-style fuzz, Michigan-style grit, and some good old-fashioned foot stomping.
