It might be August, but that doesn’t mean that it’s not the perfect time to delve into the bleak, dark world of goth music. Originally posted last year but only recently rehyped by T-Mobile’s weird Electronic Beats site, Secret 13’s pretty excellent 3-hour playlist attempts to sum up the history and arc of goth music from Mighty Sphincter to Skeletal Family. It’s an excellent intro to the scene, especially for those who might have previously only delved as far into goth as an cursory examination of Robert Smith’s hairdo would allow.
