Embroidery goes heavy metal with this frame-by-frame music video
For the video for their song “Tharsis Sleeps,” metal band Throne turned to an unlikely format—they created the first frame-by-frame embroidered music video. Each shot is comprised of many individual knitted squares made by computerized embroidery machines. The video was directed by Nicos Livesy, who is also the singer and guitarist for Throne, and possibly part of the most hardcore sewing circle around. Below you’ll find the video along with a few shots of the painstaking process to assemble this whole endeavor. (Via Geekologie)
