Emilia Clarke says "no one had a good time" filming Terminator Genisys

Revealing that the word “Genesis” wasn’t the only thing having a hard time on the set of 2015's Terminator Genisys, star Emilia Clarke opened up this week about her unhappy time on the quickly forgotten sequel. Clarke—who’s presumably having more movie-franchise-star fun promoting the upcoming Solo—said that pretty much everybody was miserable during the filming of that latest robotic reboot: “No one had a good time.”

Clarke even went so far as to say she was “relieved” when it was announced that James Cameron’s upcoming take on the franchise would be skipping past Genisys entirely, freeing her from the burden of future Sarah Connor-dom. News of the unhappy set—helmed by Clarke’s old Game Of Thrones director, Alan Taylor, who, she said, “Was not the director I remember”—apparently even spread to other troubled film sets. According to Clarke, workers on Josh Trank’s famously fraught Fantastic Four, which was filming nearby, supposedly had jackets made that said, “At least we’re not on Terminator.”
