Emilio Estevez’s new film The Public follows a Cincinnati librarian who turns his public library into an “impromptu homeless shelter for one night during the most brutal cold snap in recent Cincinnati history.” Estevez, who writes, directs, and stars, sat down to talk to us about the film, and what it’s like directing his dear old dad (Martin Sheen).
