All for one and one for all and we are all together: It looks like the gods of synchronicity are smiling down on the corpse of Alexandre Dumas, whose swashbuckling oldie The Three Musketeers is currently being adapted by two different production companies. As reported by Variety, Doug Liman, director of The Bourne Identity and Mr. And Mrs. Smith, is in talks with Warner Bros. to bring the book to the big screen. Sherlock Holmes producer Lionel Wigram is already on board, so it's not hard to imagine what this one might look like. But that ain't all: Paul Anderson, the man behind Alien Vs. Predator and Death Race, has already been tapped by Summit to make a version of The Three Musketeers… in 3-D. Of course, this whole mess could have been avoided if the film industry would just listen to us more often.
