English prog-metal band The More I See recorded a video on the decaying Tunisian desert sets of Star Wars

Graham “Gizz” Butt played guitar for English Dogs in the '80s and The Prodigy during the '90s, but left other endeavors to form his own prog-metal band The More I See, which has shifted lineups a few times since debuting in 2002. Current lead singer James Cluer is apparently a big Star Wars fan, so for the first song off their upcoming album, the band flew to Tunisia to film the video for “The Eye That Offends” on the old, decaying Star Wars sets still preserved in the desert heat. It's been almost 40 years, and they barely look like they've aged since George Lucas just left them rotting in the middle of the Sahara desert near the Algerian border. This is not the band you’re looking for, typically, to do a video like this—it’s fairly standard punk-influenced metal, with lots of talk of misery—but that shot of the band on the ridge of a canyon with the twin moons of Tatooine in the background is worth it. And the band posted a handful of behind-the-scenes photos and videos from the shoot—which looks positively laborious in the Tunisian heat—showing just how well preserved the original Skywalker Ranch and Mos Espa are today.
