Magnolia Home Entertainment wants to give five lucky A.V. Club readers DVD copies of its excellent music documentary Muscle Shoals. The film, which is out tomorrow on Blu-Ray and DVD, looks at the origins of Alabama’s Muscle Shoals sound, as well as the fate of its inventor, Rick Hall. Gregg Allman, Bono, Mick Jagger, Etta James, Alicia Keys, Keith Richards and more all weighed in for the film, which The A.V. Club hailed for its “vision of popular music as the product of a complex combination of landscapes and cultures.”
